Apps are easy to generate. Systems that last are not.

Automade Studio in 36 secondsSeven disciplines, one system

AI can produce a working prototype in an afternoon. It can't decide how that prototype survives real users, real data, real payments and real attackers.

That is where most generated software breaks: no data model, no security boundary, no monitoring, and no plan for ten times the traffic.

Automade Studio is built for that gap. We are architects and engineers first. We map the data flows, trust boundaries, failure modes and running costs, then build with the right tools for the job, AI included. You get infrastructure your company can run on for years, not a demo you rebuild in six months.

  • Survives failures, traffic spikes and abuse
  • Security boundaries at the edge and the gateway
  • Heavy work runs in the background, with retries
  • Logs, metrics and traces from the first release
  • Documented, tested and ready to hand over

    Frequently asked questions

    What does Automade Studio do?

We are a systems architecture and engineering firm. We design, build and run production systems across seven disciplines: software and platforms, AI and agents, automation, data, cloud, security and growth, engineered as one architecture.

Can we hire you for a single layer instead of the whole system?

Yes. Many engagements start with one discipline, such as an AI agent, a data pipeline or a security review. Because every discipline shares the same foundation, it fits into the rest of your system when you are ready.

Who owns the code and the infrastructure?

You do. Code lives in your repositories, infrastructure in your cloud accounts and credentials in your hands. There is no lock-in to us.

    How does an engagement start?

With a scoping call, then a written scope with milestones and acceptance criteria. If we are not the right team for the work, we say so in writing.

    What happens after launch?

Every system ships with monitoring, environments and runbooks. We can run it for you, including on-call, or train your team to run it, and we stay accountable either way.

    Where are you based?

We are remote-first. Our registered office is in New York, for client meetings, and our operating office is in Ikoyi, Lagos. We work with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and worldwide.

Multi-tenant SaaS products, two-sided marketplaces and booking platforms, operational platforms, customer portals and the APIs that connect them. Every system starts with an architecture pass: the data model, the API contract, the authentication and authorisation model, the deployment topology and the cost curve.

Much of the hardest work is invisible: background services, job queues, schedulers, payment and payout flows, search, notifications, and the integrations that keep a platform in sync with the outside world. We design those as first-class parts of the system, because that is where marketplace-scale platforms succeed or fail.

Web, mobile and partner integrations all use the same API, so nothing is built twice and nothing drifts. Tests, documentation and runbooks ship with the code, so your own team, or any team after us, can run and extend it.

    Questions we get asked

Do you build the whole product or just parts of it?

Either. We can take a product from architecture to production as your full engineering team, or join your existing team and own one layer, such as the backend, the data platform or the integrations. Either way, the scope is written down before work starts.

    Who owns the code?

You do. Code lives in your repositories, infrastructure in your cloud accounts and credentials in your hands, from the first commit. There is no lock-in to us.

Can you build a marketplace or booking platform?

Yes. Listings, search, availability and booking, payments and payouts to both sides, reviews, notifications and the admin tools to run it, designed so double bookings and payout errors can't happen quietly.

Do you build background services and job systems?

Yes. Queues, schedulers, workers and event pipelines with retries, idempotency and monitoring, so slow and scheduled work runs reliably without blocking your users.

Do you build desktop apps and browser extensions?

Yes. Desktop apps in Electron and Chrome extensions on Manifest V3, sharing the same API and sign-in as your web product.

Do you design the product as well as build it?

Yes. Research, wireframes, prototypes and a design system in Figma, then we build from that same design system so what ships matches what was designed.

How do you handle an existing codebase?

We start with a code and architecture review and write down what is there. Then we improve it in place, or re-platform it in stages, without stopping the business while we do it.

AI that does real work, safely.

We build agents that act inside your business: they read your data, call your systems through the same APIs as your apps, and take steps on their own where it is safe to. Where it is not, such as moving money or contacting customers, a person approves first.

Retrieval comes before generation. Agents answer from your documents, tickets and databases, cite where each answer came from, and say so when they don't know, so people can check the work instead of trusting it blindly.

Every agent ships with evaluation suites, guardrails, permissions and an audit trail. Models change and prompts drift, so we test behaviour on every release and keep cost and latency visible from day one.

    What we deliver

    • Agent design: tools, permissions and human-approval steps
    • Retrieval over your documents, tickets and databases
    • Support, operations and sales agents that act through your APIs
    • Multi-agent workflows with clear hand-offs

    Questions we get asked

Will the agent make decisions on its own?

Only where you decide it can. We set what each agent may do alone, what needs a person to approve, and what it may never do, and we log every action.

How do you stop it making things up?

Agents answer from your own sources and cite them. We test grounding in the evaluation suite, and when the sources don't cover a question the agent says so instead of guessing.

Is our data used to train models?

No. We use providers and settings that don't train on your data, keep data in your accounts where possible, and apply privacy filters before anything reaches a model.

How do you know it works before launch?

Every behaviour has a test suite: real questions with expected outcomes. A release only goes out when it passes, and the same tests run on every change.

Can you add AI to our existing product?

Yes. We add AI features through your product's existing API and permissions, so they respect the same roles and data boundaries as the rest of the app.

Take the copy-and-paste out of your operations.

Most businesses run on people moving information between tools: forms into the CRM, orders into accounting, approvals over email. We map those processes, then replace the manual steps with workflows that run on their own.

Workflows fail in the real world: an API times out, a record is missing, someone is on holiday. We design for that with retries, timeouts, fallbacks and alerts, and with human steps where judgement is needed, so the process carries on instead of silently stopping.

We use n8n or Make where they fit and custom code where they don't, and every workflow is versioned, monitored and documented so your team can see what ran, when, and why.

    What we deliver

    • Process mapping with your team
    • Workflows across CRM, finance, support and operations
    • Approval steps on web and mobile
    • Billing, onboarding and reporting automation
    • Retries, timeouts, alerts and run history

    Questions we get asked

Which processes are worth automating first?

The ones that are frequent, rule-based and painful when they go wrong, such as onboarding, invoicing and reporting. We map them with your team and start where the time saved is largest.

    n8n, Make or custom code?

Whatever fits the job. Low-code tools are quick to change for simple flows; custom code is better for high volume, complex logic or strict reliability. Many systems use both.

What happens when a step fails?

It retries with backoff, then falls back or alerts a person with the context to fix it. Nothing fails silently, and every run is recorded.

    Can people still approve things?

Yes. Approval steps pause the workflow until someone decides, on web or mobile, and the workflow carries on from there.

Data your people, dashboards and AI can trust.

Most companies have their data spread across an app database, payments, a CRM and analytics tools, each with its own version of the truth. We bring it together into a warehouse with clear models, so revenue, customers and orders mean the same thing everywhere.

Pipelines are built to stay correct: change capture from your databases, syncs from your SaaS tools, tests on every model and freshness checks that alert before a stale number reaches a board meeting.

The same clean data feeds dashboards, reporting and AI. We build search and vector indexes over it, so agents and in-product search answer from the facts, not from a copy that drifted months ago.

    What we deliver

    • Warehouse and lakehouse design
    • Pipelines with change data capture and API syncs
    • Data models for revenue, customers and operations
    • Data tests, freshness checks and lineage
    • Dashboards and self-serve reporting
    • Search and vector indexes for AI and in-product search

    • dbt
    • Airbyte
    • Debezium
    • Kafka
    • Python
    • Elasticsearch
    • pgvector
    • Metabase

    Questions we get asked

Do we need a data warehouse?

If your answers come from several systems, or reporting slows down your app database, usually yes. We start small, often with PostgreSQL or BigQuery, and grow it as you need.

How do you keep data accurate?

Every model has tests, every source has freshness checks, and lineage shows where each number comes from. When something breaks, the right person is alerted before anyone uses the wrong number.

Can our AI use this data?

Yes. We build search and vector indexes from the cleaned data, with the same access rules, so AI features answer from current, permitted facts.

What about personal data and compliance?

We classify sensitive fields, restrict access by role, mask or remove what isn't needed and set retention rules, in line with GDPR and your own policies.

Infrastructure that ships safely and scales on its own.

We design cloud architecture around how your system actually behaves: where the load comes from, what has to stay up, and what it should cost. Everything is defined as code, in your own accounts, so it can be reviewed, repeated and handed over.

Delivery pipelines take every change from commit to production with tests, security scans, staging and gradual releases, and a rollback that takes seconds, so shipping becomes routine instead of risky.

Monitoring, alerting and runbooks come with the system, and cost is tracked like any other metric. We size resources, use autoscaling and remove waste, so the bill grows with your business and not ahead of it.

    What we deliver

    • Cloud architecture on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

    Questions we get asked

    Which cloud should we use?

The one that fits your team, customers and existing contracts. We work across AWS, Google Cloud and Azure, and we keep your architecture portable where it matters.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Usually. We review what you run, right-size it, add autoscaling and remove waste, and we set up cost tracking so savings don't slowly disappear.

How do you make deployments safe?

Every change goes through automated tests, security scans and staging, then out to a small share of traffic first. If anything looks wrong, it rolls back automatically.

    Do you provide on-call support?

Yes. We can run your infrastructure with monitoring and on-call, or set it up and train your team to run it, with runbooks for every common incident.

Security designed in, not bolted on.

Most breaches come through ordinary gaps: an exposed storage bucket, an admin account without MFA, an old dependency or a leaked key. We design systems so those gaps are hard to create, and review existing ones to find them before attackers do.

Security starts in the architecture: trust boundaries at the edge and the gateway, least-privilege access, secrets kept out of code and encryption by default. Then we check it continuously, with scanning in the delivery pipeline and posture checks in the cloud.

We help you prepare for SOC 2, GDPR and HIPAA with the controls and evidence auditors ask for, and we plan the response for when something does go wrong, so an incident is a procedure, not a panic.

    • Secrets management and key rotation

    Questions we get asked

    Where do we start?

With a threat model and a review of your cloud, identities, code and dependencies. You get a ranked list of findings with what to fix first and why.

Can you help us pass SOC 2?

Yes. We put the technical controls in place, collect the evidence auditors need and work alongside your auditor and compliance tools.

    Do you do penetration testing?

We prepare systems for penetration tests and fix what they find, and we can work with an independent testing firm so the test stays independent.

    What if we're attacked?

You follow a response plan we've written and rehearsed with you: contain, investigate, recover and learn, with clear roles and contacts.

Growth you can measure back to revenue.

Growth breaks down when the tools don't talk: ads in one place, signups in another, deals in a CRM nobody trusts. We engineer the systems behind growth so every lead is captured, routed and followed up, and every sale can be traced back to where it started.

We set up the CRM around how you actually sell, connect your forms, product signups, outbound and ads to it, and automate the follow-up, so no lead waits a day for a reply.

Then we tie it together with tracking and attribution, so you can see cost per customer and revenue by channel, and put budget where it pays back.

Can you track revenue back to each channel?

Yes. We set up tracking from first visit to paid customer, including server-side events, so you can see cost per customer and revenue by channel.

Do you run the ads too?

We build the systems, tracking and automation behind growth. We work alongside your marketing team or agency, who run the campaigns.

Is tracking compliant with privacy laws?

We set up consent management and server-side tracking that respects your users' choices under GDPR and similar laws.
